The I-Ching also known as the Book of Changes is arguably one of the world's oldest books and an ancient Taoist form of divination. Using yarrow sticks and coins one of the 64 hexagrams of I-Ching will be drawn. The I-Ching is very complicated and the hexagrams discuss past, present, and future and it takes a lot of skill and understanding to interpret properly. When I was first introduced to the I-Ching it was taught to me as perhaps one of the most ultimate tools in discussing fate. Whereas tarot can be used to interpret situations based on the energies of the present moment and are thus a tool of divination I consult before, during, and after a spell -- the I-Ching is a much deeper reading, looking at the energies of the present without being bound to it.
